As a result, China is forecast to shortly become the world's second largest consumer of medical technology.

MEDTEC has already established itself as China's premier event for medical device design and manufacturing. The exhibition and conference are part of a global series now held annually in the United States, Europe and Asia. MEDTEC is organized by UBM Canon in co-operation with CCPIT Shanghai. The 2011 edition of MEDTEC China promises to be the biggest and best ever. With 280 exhibitors, the scale of the exhibition has been expanded by 50% over 2010. A wealth of first-time exhibitors will also feature prominently at MEDTEC China 2011 including Flextronics, Vascutek, Styron, Osmunda, Ashland, Forefront, Nolato, Elma, KTW, Vertellus, and Bluestar Silicone. What's more, a dedicated Singapore Pavilion will showcase the city state's latest in medical device technology and solutions.

MEDTEC China also features a full conference and technical forum program featuring leading experts in materials, processes, regulatory, outsourcing and supply chain.
